About Myself
My Name is Hairi Abass, I'm an IT & Management Consultant for several banks and large financial institution in South East Asia. If your doing bill payment in that region, or just swiping your debit or credit card chances are some of those transactions pass through systems I've developed. I'm based in Singapore and Jakarta.
I did my bachelor degree in NTU Singapore, and then pursued my PhD in NTU also, researching MANETS(Mobile Adhoc Networks). I've left before i've completed my PhD to pursue other interest. My brother Aimi is doing research on Solar Cells in belgium, and I'm actively helping him in the mathematical modeling part.
I was the director for a mobile digital content company, we do those ringtones, ringbacktones and sms based quizes and games you usually see on print and tv advertisement.
I also collect paintings. I have several Lee Man Fong and Affandi's painting at my collection.
